The Aura Mini can be used for a wide variety of applications including sterility testing, cell culture, molecular biology, drug preparation, PCR (in active mode with UV light and timer option), food industry and assembly of optical and electronic components.

The special design of the AURA MINI Laminar Flow Cabinet allows safe manipulation of sterile products with an inward air barrier that increases operator safety. Outward barrier mode and Active mode PCR versions are available.

In the INWARD barrier mode an air barrier is drawn through the front opening and recirciulated with the down flow air 70% of the air is returned to the work area through the main HEPA filter with 30% discharged back into the environment through a Filtrete ® air filter with a gravimetric efficiency of 99% on 3µ particles. In this configuration, excellent product protection is ensured also providing outstanding containment.

In the OUTWARD barrier mode the air is drawn through the Filtrete ® air filter, mixed with the incoming recirculation air and then filtered through the main HEPA filter into the work area. 70% of the air is recirculated whilst the remaining 30% is exhausted through the front opening. This configuration ensures the highest product protection.
