The Aspirator 3 is designed as a precision aspirator of the category „high vacuum, low flow“ according to DIN ISO 10079-1:1999 to assist in the retrieval of oocytes through follicle puncture.
The electronic control enables the quick build-up or reducing of vacuum within seconds. If reducing of the vacuum is desired doing aspiration, this can be done immediately with the electronic foot pedal without needing to manipulate other functions manually.
Entering of fluids into the unit is prevented by a blocking filter at the overflow connection of the overflow container.
Optional, the upper side of the Aspirator 3 is heated and thus can be used as a heating plate.

This device fulfills the essential requirements of the directive 93/42 EEC for medical devices.
Medical procedures in reproduction or other clinical usages shall only be carried out by specially trained and authorised personnel. The Aspirator 3 shall only be used by trained personnel in a clinical environment and under observation of local regulations and laws.
