The Fuego SCS represents a new status among laboratory gas burners. With its innovative design and the extensive standard features this laboratory gas burner is suitable for all flame related applications in the laboratory.
Modern Design
The unique shape is eye-catching. The low profile body facilitates ergonomic operation; the streamlined design reduces air flow disturbances in a clean room workbench to a minimum. Moreover, the Fuego SCS is very easy to clean – a laboratory gas burner without grooves and rough edges.
Clogging is not an issue. Spilled liquids simply escape through an integrated drain while solid substances can easily be removed by opening the burner shaft. It is even possible to dismantle the individual components of the removable burner head for in-depth cleaning.
Top Rate Safety
The Safety Control System SCS demonstrates state-of-the-art safety technology which constantly analyzes potential hazards and, if necessary, initiates safety measures, such as an interruption of the gas supply. In addition to the ignition and flame control function and the overheating protection, the new safety concept also features continuous burner head control (BHC). BHC unfailingly identifies burner head clogging by liquids or solid substances and ensures the correct assembly of the burner head. Exceptional passive safety features: After prolonged use, the residual heat display will signal that the burner head is still hot in order to protect the user from burns. The adjustable automatic cut-off system inhibits unintentional ignition when the flame has not been ignited for a longer period of time.
Simple and Safe Operation
The Fuego SCS can be operated with a foot pedal or touch free IR-Sensor. For both options, different programs exist that have been developed from practical experience: flexible start-stop functions, continuous application for up to 2 hours or programs for short flame sterilization – exact to the second. Moreover, the Fuego SCS automatically recognizes whether a foot pedal or the auto loop PRO carrousel for inoculation loops is connected, and displays other functions.
Convenience
The clear and easy to read display will always keep you in control. The logical multilingual menu facilitates the fast activation of any function. High-precision burning time regulation and IR-Sensor reaction distance adjustment are easily possible, among other options. When the burner is activated the display shows the remaining burning time.
Exclusive– The DoubleClick IR-Sensor
When activated, this additional safety function ensures that the burner can only be ignited by activating the DoubleClick IR-Sensor twice. As a result, unintentional ignition or ignition due to dropping or falling objects is virtually impossible, increasing safety considerably.
Another Plus
Excellent energy efficiency reduces the gas consumption. This increases the burning time when gas cartridges are used.
Robust
Fabricated entirely of stainless steel, with fireproof controls and a display, protected by heat resistant glass, the Fuego SCS can withstand extreme lab conditions.
